한국에서 유기성 목사님께서 시작하신 예수동행운동 사역을 도미니카공화국 현지 교회와 지역 커뮤니티에 접목시켜 사역을 시작합니다! 최근에 유기성 목사님의 모든 교재가 스페인어로 드디어 출판이 되었습니다. 뿐만 아니라 예수동행일기 앱도 스페인어로도 이용할 수 있도록 스페인어 지원이 추가되었다는 기쁜 소식을 들었습니다. 도미니카공화국을 위한 교재가 준비되었고, 직접 일기를 쓸 수 있는 앱도 준비가 완벽하게 된 것입니다!
앞으로 아래와 같은 방향성을 가지고 이 사역을 진행하고자 합니다.
1. 목적과 방향성
도미니카공화국은 한국보다도 일찍 미국 선교사들을 통해 개신교가 들어온 나라입니다. 또한 1500년대 부터 스페인의 식민지로 카톨릭이 빠르게 들어온 나라이기도 합니다. 현재는 35프로가 개신교, 60프로가 카톨릭이며, 어떻게 보면 기독교 국가라고 할 수 있습니다. 그러나 이들의 대부분은 국가적으로 기독교적 문화의 색채가 강할 뿐, 개인의 삶에서 살아내는 신앙이 부족한 사람들입니다. 교회는 매우 감정적이고 경험과 체험을 중요시 하는 대신에 개인의 제자훈련과 양육이 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있습니다. 이들을 대상으로 예수동행사역을 구체적으로 시작해보려고 합니다. 매일의 삶 속에서 주님을 바라보고 생각하는 사람들이 되도록 훈련 할 것입니다.
2. 대상 및 목표
18세 이상 성인들을 대상으로 예수동행세미나&집회를 준비합니다. 총 3일 일정(금토일)으로 예수동행사역에 대해서 배우게 되고 이해하게 되며 구체적으로는 예수동행일기를 쓰며 예수님과 동행하는 삶을 살아가게 됩니다.

3. 세미나 구성

* 온라인 세미나는 예수동행본부 디렉터 강의(스페인어 버전 강의 제작)
4. 후원자 참여방법
* 세미나 교재 1명 후원 - CAD $30
* 간식 후원(과자, 음료 등) - CAD $50
5. 확장 계획 (2년 차)
* 매년 1회 정기적으로 예수동행세미나 진행
* 3개월에 1회 리마인드 모임 진행
* 아이티마을 전체 목회자 대상으로 세미나 진행
* 지역교회로 확대

With Jesus Journal Ministry
We are launching the With Jesus Movement Ministry in the Dominican Republic, adapting the ministry originally started in Korea by Pastor You Gi-sung to local churches and communities.
Recently, we received the exciting news that all of Pastor You Gi-sung’s training materials have now been published in Spanish. In addition, the With Jesus Journal App is now also available in Spanish. This means that both the curriculum and the digital tool for daily spiritual journaling are fully prepared and ready for ministry use in the Dominican Republic.
We would like to proceed with this ministry according to the following direction:
1. Purpose and Vision
The Dominican Republic was one of the first countries where Protestant Christianity was introduced through American missionaries, even earlier than in Korea. It also became a Spanish colony in the 1500s, through which Catholicism was widely established.
Today, approximately 35% of the population identifies as Protestant and about 60% as Catholic. In many ways, it can be considered a Christian nation culturally. However, for most believers, Christianity remains largely cultural or national rather than a personally lived faith.
Church life is often highly emotional and experience-centered, but systematic discipleship and personal spiritual formation are often lacking.
This ministry seeks to introduce the With Jesus discipleship movement to address this gap—helping believers learn to focus on Jesus daily and to live a life of continual awareness of His presence in their everyday lives.
2. Target Participants and Goals
The primary target group is adults aged 18 and above.
We will organize a 3-day seminar (Friday–Sunday) called the With Jesus Seminar & Gathering, where participants will:
- Learn and understand the With Jesus discipleship movement
- Begin practicing daily “With Jesus Journaling”
- Be trained to live a life walking with Jesus in everyday life
- Separate seminars will be prepared for children and youth.
Program structure includes:
- Attendance at a 3-day seminar
- Assignment to local church-based small groups
- Training and supervision of small group leaders
- Use of the With Jesus Journal App
3. Seminar Structure
- Hybrid format: in-person and online seminars
- In-person teaching led by Pastor Park Woo-ram
- Online sessions led by directors of the With Jesus Headquarters
- Online lectures will be produced in Spanish
4. Sponsor Participation Options
- Sponsor seminar materials for one participant: CAD $30
- Sponsor snacks (food, drinks, etc.): CAD $50
5. Expansion Plan (Year 2)
- Annual With Jesus Seminar (once per year)
- Quarterly (every 3 months) follow-up and revival meetings
- Full seminar for all pastors in Haitian villages
- Expansion to additional local churches
6. Seminar Budget
Income
- Registration fee: 500 pesos per person × 100 participants = 50,000 pesos (USD $840)

7. Seminar Commitment Agreement
All participants must sign a commitment agreement confirming faithful participation in the seminar.
- Each participant must commit to attending faithfully
- Commitment forms must be signed by parents, children, and spouses where applicable
